Got camera-shy guys in your bridal party? Don’t worry. As a tomboy who’s into sports and classic cars, I can talk engine sizes and rugby scores (Go NZ!) with the best of them.
I’m obsessed with shooting weddings. Seriously, I love it!
At home, I’ve got two wild boys, a beautiful stepdaughter, a hubby in the film industry, and two adorable, slobbering British bulldogs.

I chose Mel as my photographer way before I was even engaged. I spotted her style of photography and immediately fell in love with her. I cannot speak more highly of Mel, her passion, her energy, her drive, her sense of humour, and her generosity has inspired me so much. Mel is amazing ! You will not regret having her capture your big day ! She went above and beyond at my wedding even with constant rainfall and winds. I was worried about the rain and the weather made no difference to her at all she still got amazing shots even better with rain than without . I couldn't recommend her enough . We first met Mel when I wanted to offer an engagement photo shoot to my fiancé (also was his birthday) in the gold coast after a nice week end. The photos were absolutely amazing and are on every wall at home ! I, then asked Mel if she would travel to Palm cove for our wedding on 23.8.23 as I didn't get the vibe I got with her with any photograph up there... Fortunately for us, she said YES ! I had a sneak pic of some photos and they looked amazing, still waiting for the full set but sure that they would be amazing. Mel was terribly good on the day ! I would not go anywhere else ! She did our engagement, wedding, so I expect our maternity shoot (maybe haha) and family photos ! Such a special bond, so much love for you Mel, thank you !!! Mel was/is amazing! A lot of energy and doesn’t mess around. She gets amazing photos no matter the time of day or weather. I can’t recommend her enough. Not only is she a photographer but she becomes your friend. You’ll want to go to her for everything, maternity/newborn (which I will be doing) and family shots. She’s the best!

What an amazing photographer Melissa is I couldn't have asked for anyone else, she worked her butt off helping me into my dress helping my bridesmaids with their dresses my sister called her the jack of all trades.... Absolutely! The only thing better than a love story is one set somewhere epic—whether it’s overseas or outside my usual Queensland stomping grounds. Hell yes, I travel! In fact, I often shoot destination weddings, and you’d be surprised how affordable it can be. I generally just charge for flights (and maybe a sneaky wine at the airport).
